SREE RAMA NIDHI – Introduction

The objective of the program 'SREE RAMA NIDHI' is to create devotional awareness about the great epic 'SREE RAMAYANAM' among children. This is an objective test conducted every year on the occasion of the 'SREE RAMA NAVAMI' festival.

The epic Sri Ramayanam was originally written by Sri Sri Sri Valmiki Maharshi in Sanskrit. It has also been rewritten in several Indian languages, such as:

  • Molla Ramayanam by the lady poet Molla
  • Ranganatha Ramayanam by Gona Buddha Reddy in Telugu
  • Torave Ramayana by Poet Narahari in Kannada, and many more.

Through the Ramayanam, the public learns about the noble qualities and life of Lord Sri Rama, including:

  • Honesty
  • Truthfulness
  • Pitruvaakya Paripaalana (obedience to father’s word)
  • Brotherly affection and sensitivity
  • Love and devotion to his consort, the great Seetha Devi, etc.
  • Lord Sri Rama is the very embodiment of Dharma, and his life teaches how a common man can live a righteous and principled life.

The "SREE RAMA NIDHI" exam is conducted throughout the year online, while the main offline event is held just before the Sri Rama Navami festival.

    • Prizes will be distributed to all winners during the main event.
    • All children and students below 16 years of age are eligible to participate.
